Come with me on an Extreme Day Trip to Iceland! 🇮🇸 I’m ending the year giving you a glimpse into my last trip of 2023. This was a whirlwind of a day travelling from London to Reykjavik (and back!). With only 9.5 hours between landing at @kef_airport, to departing back towards @ldnlutonairport, I planned a packed day full of sight-seeing and relaxation… 🚗 Hired a car from @europcariceland. ⛪️ Visited the iconic Hallgrimskirkja Church. 🏘️ Explored Reykjavik in the snow. 🌭 Grabbed a traditional hot dog at street vendor. 🏔️ Admired the icy mountainous landscapes. 🧖🏻‍♂️ Spa afternoon at @skylagooniceland. ✈️ Returned back to the airport for my return flight. 🌌 Saw the Northern Lights as we departed! …I arrived back at home and into bed just after midnight. snuggle up for a cozy vlog 🦢✨ i visited Nex̱wlélex̱wm (Bowen Island) for the first time this weekend! this is the perfect day trip if you want to escape the city vibe and enjoy a day of café-hopping and window shopping. This island has so much to offer and I only saw a small chunk of it when i was there! The ferry is 11$ round trip which i also loved and it was gorgeous on a sunny day! p.s. the chocolate shop i got the hot coco w/cinnamon is called @cocoawestbc ☕️ it was so good !! have you been to Bowen? We planned a day trip to Dickson Falls in Fundy National Park — an easy and scenic trail surrounded by mossy forests, waterfalls, and fresh air 🍃 But first… we made a spontaneous stop at Alma Beach along the Bay of Fundy. The views were unreal, and the salty breeze hit just right. 📍Just an hour from Moncton this loop is the perfect blend of adventure and calm.
