Delta Lake at sunrise was easily one of the most amazing experiences. 🌄 Waking up at 3 AM and hiking for about 2.5 hours nonstop through the dark, scrambling over rocks, and pushing through the fatigue to make it in time was definitely a challenge. But just like most things in life, anything worth having usually comes with a price. This one just happened to come with a pretty incredible view at the end. 🏔️ The harder the climb, the better the view. #DeltaLake #GrandTetons #HikingAdventures

The best view of Grand Teton peak 🏔️ This lake sits directly below the Grand Teton and it’s every bit as dramatic as it sounds. 📍 Delta Lake, Grand Teton National Park 🥾 ~7.6 miles round trip ⛰️ ~2,300 ft elevation gain ⏱️ 4-6 hours 🚗 Starts at Lupine Meadows trailhead ⚠️ Unmaintained trail — the last stretch is a boulder scramble with no clear path, so download an offline map before you go 🐻 Bear country, bring spray Go early. The parking lot fills up fast and you’ll want the morning light on the peak anyway. Save this for your Grand Teton trip and follow for more 🏔️

The best hikes according to a local. My favorite hikes to go with my gal pals and the list I send to anyone I know visiting Jackson Hole. They are all pretty popular so a quick google can help you find trail info. (Don’t worry locals, I’ve kept the best kept secret spots off) Remember to always bring Bear Spray!!! Like seriously don’t go without it, mmmk?! 📍Wildflower Trail - At Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, this one takes you through gorgeous wildflowers to the top of the Gondola. 📍Goodwin Lake - This is one of my all time faves and it’s in the Gros Ventre Mountain Range. It’s a half day hike to bring lots of snacks. The road is also washed out before the trail head so you’ll need to add an extra mile to the trek. 📍Delta Lake - “Instagram Lake”. This one has become terribly popular in the last few years (not in the best way) but it’s stunning. You really do need poles as it’s very steep. Trust me on this one. 📍Ski Lake - An easier morning or afternoon hike on Teton Pass. Great with dogs! 📍Bear Paw Lake - I loooove this one. It’s a long out-and-back day hike but flat! The views are spectacular and great camping at the end. 📍Static Peak - If you want to climb a Teton mountain, start here. It takes all day and you will most likely see a bear, so bring that bear spray. 📍Phelps Lake Jumping Rock - An annual Summer bucket list must-do for me. Bring a bathing suit! 📍Holly Lake - A more strenuous day hike on the Paintbrush-Cascade Loop. The trails are pretty much endless and it’s hard to play favorites. What am I missing?! #jacksonhole
