This demolding video really shows off the true colors of this set! There are subtle pinks and blues that can only be seen from certain angles. Dropping all my knowledge for yall📚 1. Use a demolding spray: without some type of lubricant, your cement could potentially stick to your molds and ruin them. Make sure to always use clean molds too! 2. Mix your dry cement: always give your cement or sand a good stir in case clumps have settled over time. 3. Use an electric mixer: if you’re doing multiple pours at once, instead of mixing a large batch of cement by hand, get a drill and a mixer attachment. This will make your mixture more uniform and will decrease clumping. 4. Pour your mixture slowly only filling 1/4 full: if you pour your mixture too fast you risk more bubbles being trapped inside. By filling it only 1/4 full you can release those bubbles that may be trapped at the surface of your mold. 5. Vibrate your molds: if you remember absolutely anything from this- it’s that vibration is the most important step to having good cement pours! Vibrate by hand, with a vibration gun, or a table like I’ve made. 6. Fill molds completely and vibrate some more: once you vibrate all the bubbles that could be at the bottom of your pour, you can now fill the rest of your mold and once again, vibrate! 7. Use a knife and heat gun for surface bubbles: drag a putty knife gently along the surface of the cement to uncover any bubbles still stuck underneath the surface. Then lightly use a heat gun to pop those bubbles and tap the mold with your hand to fill the holes of the bubbles. 8. Thank me for perfect cement pours: lol no need to thank me because I’m no professional, but I hope all of the tricks I’ve learned can help you with whatever you’re making!
