I have lost something that I didn’t know I held so closely. Slowly, we lose everything and then, I think it is how soon we learn to let go and be present with the present. My heart weeps and yearns for this home that I know is burned to the ground and everything it has taken with it. I want to believe That there is something beyond this life and all of this is simply a play. And that one day, we meet everyone we lost from this world. All the children, the friends, the adults, the sick, everyone. I hope I get to weep and hug them all. God, I’m so sorry for the days I don’t see your grace and love and for all the love I don’t show.
