🩷 + 💙 + 🍁 A seductively smooth pink and blue sunset over Lake Superior and peak fall color. This was a sublimely beautiful evening along Minnesota’s North Shore during early October. The North Shore’s pink and blue sunsets are some of my favorite scenes. I was very happy to capture this wonderfully splendid moment before the strong winds arrived later that week. Hope you are all feeling that fall magic✨🍁🍂

Anderson was also the first rescue ship on the scene in a vain search for Edmund Fitzgerald survivors. The vessel’s namesake, Arthur Marvin Anderson, was director of U.S. Steel, a member of its finance committee and vice chairman of J.P. Morgan & Co. at the time. The ship was launched in 1952 and is in active service.” . The old railway was abandoned in the 80’s, and many people enjoy biking, hiking, snow shoeing, and rock climbing around this area today. If you’re interested in climbing you’ll see many rock climbing routes around the tunnel!
