MCP doesn't replace your APIs. It never touched them. Everyone's shipping MCP servers right now, and half the takes online treat it like an API killer. It isn't. Underneath, that GitHub MCP server is still calling GitHub's normal REST API. Here's what actually changed: Before, every AI app rebuilt every integration. Five services meant five sets of auth, error handling, retries, and response parsing — and when your company shipped a second AI app, somebody built all five again. MCP gives them one shape to plug into. Your app connects to MCP servers, and every server describes its own tools in the same format — list_issues, search_code, create_issue. That's tool discovery, and it's the part that actually matters: the model gets handed a menu it didn't have to be told about, and picks the right item itself. APIs expose the functionality. MCP is the AI-facing layer on top of them. What's the worst "MCP replaces X" take you've seen this week? 👇 #mcp #modelcontextprotocol #aiengineering #softwareengineering #devtools
Codenotch is a free Mac app that pins your AI coding allowance to the edge of your screen, so you can avoid hitting limits mid-task. More like this → gittrend.io #codenotch #macos #ai #coding #github #opensource #devtools #claudecode
one page. every tool a developer hoards, in one place. free, no login. ai bots, coding cheat sheets, free self-hosting and server tools, and the tech blogs nobody points you to. hundreds of links someone spent years collecting, just sitting there. it’s the bookmark folder of someone way smarter than you, and it’s public. if you build anything, save this. you’ll be in it for hours. comment HUB and i’ll send you the link. follow for more. #devtools #coding #selfhosting #cybersecurity #tech
burning your entire usage limit in 10 minutes isn't Claude Code's fault. it's your session. every file it reads, every tool, every skill, every MCP server — it all stays in the context and gets re-sent with your next message. then you start another task in the same chat. then another. by message 40 you're paying full price for a conversation that's mostly junk. the fix is five habits: 01 — one task, one session. new task, new session. run /context before anything big so you can see what you're already carrying. 02 — plan before you build. shift+tab. Claude explores the codebase, proposes a plan, then stops and waits. catching a bad idea in a 10-line plan is cheap. catching it after 12 files changed is not. 03 — split the models. Opus figures out the architecture and writes the plan. Sonnet takes the plan and builds it. planning is where you need the expensive reasoning. 04 — make it verify itself. "done" doesn't mean it works. give it tests, a type checker, a linter. for front-end, make it open the app and actually look. 05 — stop it wandering. vague prompt = 43 files opened. specific prompt = 3. tell it which feature, which files, where the logic lives, what behaviour you want. the goal was never to make Claude use fewer tokens. it's to make every token actually finish the task. which one of these are you not doing yet? 👇 #claudecode #aicoding #devtools #contextengineering #softwareengineering

How to use Playwright MCP with coding agents 🎭🤖 Comment "MCP" you will receive the Guide.... In this reel I show how Playwright MCP lets AI coding agents like Claude Code and Antigravity actually SEE and test your website — clicking, checking, and fixing bugs on their own. This is the future of vibe coding: AI agents that don't just write code, they verify it works. If you're into AI coding tools, website automation, or building with Claude Code, this workflow will save you hours. 👇 Save this for your next project and follow for more AI + vibe coding builds. #vibecoding #claudecode #playwrightmcp #aiagents #codingagent #webdevelopment #aitools #buildinpublic #antigravity #mcp #aicoding #softwaredeveloper #webdev #automatedtesting #aiautomation #devtools #claudeai #codewithai #techtok #programmingreels
Comment “INFRA” for the free blueprint-Automations are no longer as valuable as they once were. If you want to be ahead of the curve in 2026, start selling infrastructure. Most agencies are still pushing plug-and-play templates and Add-on workflows. That era is far gone. I’m building Al-native infrastructure, the full backend stack behind every intelligent system I deploy. That means: • Local dev environments (Cursor + Claude Code) • FastAPI backends powering real business logic • Supabase vector databases for memory + retrieval • OpenRouter for model routing + control • n8n for orchestration + multi-agent workflows • VPS or cloud-deployed agents that scale This isn’t “build a chatbot.” This is replace the dept. #Infra #Alstack #Automation #DevTools #n8n
Anthropic released their AI-SDLC playbook — a stage-by-stage guide for rebuilding software development around AI agents. The premise is simple. AI writes code in hours, but planning, review and deployment still run at human speed. The bottleneck moved. The answer: every stage commits a file. An idea becomes an intent file. That triggers a spec. The spec triggers a plan. The plan triggers code. Each handoff is a git commit, and the chain doubles as the audit trail. Guardrails come in two layers — skills encode company policy the agent follows, hooks are scripts that block unsafe actions outright. And AI reviews every pull request, but it can never approve its own code. A human keeps the merge button. #ai #aiagents #softwareengineering #devtools #genai
A laptop costs $1,299. Your server just charged $0.01 for it. Nobody hacked anything. The checkout sent this: { product_id: 4821, price: 0.01 } The price field came from the browser — and everything that comes from the browser can be edited. Open devtools, change the number, hit buy. Your JavaScript validation ran, sure — in the attacker’s browser, under the attacker’s control. OWASP puts it bluntly: input validation “must be implemented on the server-side”, because “any JavaScript-based input validation performed on the client-side can be circumvented by an attacker”. The fix is one decision: the client picks the product. The server picks the price. { product_id: 4821 } → SELECT price → $1,299 The request never carries a price at all, so there is nothing to tamper with. The client can keep sending $0.01 forever; your server reads $1,299 from its own database every time. Payment APIs are built the same way — with Stripe, the amount that actually gets charged is set on your server when it creates the PaymentIntent. The browser only displays and confirms it. The uncomfortable part: price is not the only field you are trusting. Quantity (try -1), coupon codes, user IDs, role flags — every field in every request was fully editable by the person who sent it. Client-side checks are UX. Server-side checks are security. Go look at your checkout: where does the price actually come from? #backendtips #websecurity #apisecurity #devtips
Comment “savings” for the setup I use to check if you’re getting the discount Fable 5.1 is not cheaper. Input, still $10. Output, still $50. Cache writes, identical. One number moved. Cache reads went from a dollar to 25 cents. 75% off. Here’s the thing. Your agent resends the whole conversation every turn. Caching stores it once, then reads it back for pennies. No caching, no copy to read. You’re paying full price on a newer model. #ClaudeAI #AIAgents #AItools #Automation #DevTools
