30 Tage, 3 Inseln & wir haben so viele Tiere, Farben und Orte gesehen von denen wir nie dachten, dass wir das mal erleben 🫶🏽

- White Coral, Rasdhoo: 30€ / Nacht
- Crown Beach, Diffushi: 23€ / Nacht
- Airbnb „Wave Crest“, Thulusdhoo: 21€ / Nacht
(Preis jeweils PRO PERSON bei Doppelzimmer)
- Flüge gebucht über Skyscanner, am besten immer über die Monatsansicht schauen und bei „Abflug“ alle Flughäfen in DE auswählen & dann raussuchen, wo die besten Optionen sind (Ein Tag hin oder her kann manchmal 300-400€ pro Strecke ausmachen!) ✈️
Alle Unterkünfte lagen direkt am Privatstrand (abgesehen von Rasdhoo, das würd ich leider auch nicht weiterempfehlen, da es wirklich sehr unsauber & alt war - absolut nicht wie auf den Bildern 🫣 mit den anderen waren wir sehr zufrieden, vor Allem für die Preise.)
—> Die Malediven sind wirklich ein besonderes Reiseziel & vor allem für kürzere Urlaube auch deutlich einfacher zu erreichen als z.B. Asien oder die Karibik. 🐚

Flying to the Maldives was such a dream come true.
I can’t describe the feeling I had when I saw the islands from above for the first time.

💸Low Budget Tip:
The Maldives are mostly known as a destination for couples or families. While accommodation can be quite expensive if you’re traveling alone and on a tight budget, public transportation prices using local ferries ($2–4; compared to $25–60 for a speedboat) and food are very affordable.
Here are some of the islands that are cheaper and close to Malé (more distant islands can only be reached by plane for $60):
• in the south:
🏖️ Maafushi (if you are looking for a more touristy island with lots of activities)
🏝️ Guraidhoo (if you are looking for a more local and natural island)
• in the north:
🌴 Diffushi (if you are looking for a more local island offering lots of activities)
🏄🏽♂️ Thulusdhoo & Himmafushi (if you are looking for a surf spot)
• in the west:
🐠 Ukulhas (if you are looking for a more local and natural island)
🤿 Rasdhoo (if you are looking for a more touristy island with lots of activities)
For example, as a solo traveler, you can stay in a guesthouse for around 20$ including breakfast. Just be careful, websites like Booking show the prices without taxes!
