My recent journey through Ladakh was nothing short of breathtaking. We drove up to the iconic Khardung La Pass, standing proudly at approximately 18,000 feet, one of the highest motorable passes in the world, brilliantly constructed and maintained by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO). The adventure continued into the stunning Nubra Valley, a mesmerizing landscape where snow-capped mountains meet unique cold sand dunes, situated close to the legendary Siachin Glacier. We also visited the historic Diskit Monastery, offering a deep dive into the region's rich spiritual heritage.
