A Film Crew in your Backpack 🎬 🤯 DJI is really making it possible for small crews and solo filmmakers / creators to get the absolute most out of their cameras. While not every piece of gear here is necessary for all projects, this kit is meant to demonstrate how impactful each element can be on its own and when working in unison to bring solo-created-content to the next level. I’m truly mind-blown each time I stop and think about how far camera technology has come over the last 10 years. It wasn’t that long ago when consumer accessible 3-axis stabilizers were a new concept, and now we have setups like these, that most creatives working at a paid level can actually afford. Spent part of this week testing the new DJI Mini 5 Pro after crashing for first time a few weeks ago and capturing some aerial shots around Salisbury. Also was invited into St Thomas’ Church to grab a few images during a small survey, while continuing to build out my stock footage library. These weekly vlogs are simply a look behind the scenes at what life as a filmmaker actually looks like — drone flights, wildlife filming, client work and everything in between.
