Old doily + willow wreath + a bit of garden twine. That’s it. The idea of stretching vintage doilies into hoops and wreaths has been around for years, often as doily dreamcatchers, but I absolutely love these versions using willow wreaths. (I made the big willow wreath, remind me to share this sometime) I spotted this idea on Pinterest & immediately knew you lot would love it as much as I did. So consider this me simply passing a lovely old idea along ✨ Honestly, don’t we just LOVE all the ways the humble doily is having a renaissance? 🤭 Enjoy your glam spiders web, Clare 🧺🕸️🧶

Sometimes the simplest ideas are the sweetest. 🌸 I found this large mason jar at the thrift store and added a doily under the rim to help hold each flower right where I wanted it. A handful of zinnias and cosmos from the garden later, and it made the prettiest little arrangement. 🤍 Such an easy way to use what you already have. And another reason to never pass up a pretty old doily at the thrift store!
