The Department of Transportation (DOTr), in collaboration with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), supported by Infrastructure Asia, is hosting a market sounding session in Singapore from 09 to 11 March 2026 to present two key DOTr projects: 🔹 The Philippine Automated Fare Collection System (PAFCS); and 🔹 The AFCS Package for the Davao Public Transport Modernization Project (DPTMP-AFCS) During the opening ceremony on 9 March, Philippine Ambassador to Singapore H.E. Medardo G. Macaraig underscored the country’s push for transparent, efficient infrastructure investment and ASEAN-wide digital transformation. The Singapore session is part of a broader international roadshow that will also include stops in other major financial and infrastructure hubs. Feedback gathered from participants will be used to refine the scope, risk allocation, and procurement parameters of the AFCS packages ahead of the planned tender launches. PANOORIN: Ambulansyang napara ng DOTR-SAICT dahil sa hindi awtorisadong pagdaan EDSA Busway Santolan station, natuklasang ginagamit bilang shuttle service. Bumungad sa mga operatiba ang loob ng isang ambulansya na puno ng mga upuan na katulad ng makikita sa ordinaryong shuttle van o pampasaherong sasakyan, at walang anumang kagamitan para sa mga medical emergency tulad ng stretcher, oxygen tank, o iba pang first-aid equipment. Nang tanungin ni Special Operations Group (SOG) Head na si Rayson Dela Torre ang isa sa mga driver tungkol sa kawalan ng karaniwang medical equipment sa loob ng ambulansya, diretso nitong sinabi na ginagamit nila ito bilang service vehicle para sa mga pasaherong magpapa-check up lamang sa ospital. Binigyan ng Temporary Operators Permit (TOP) ang mga driver ng nasabing ambulansiya, dahil sa mga natuklasang violations.
