This is your sign to draw your oc #drawing #oc #ocdrawing

[PAUSE TO READ] Congrats, you created your OC! You try to draw them again but they look... nothing like your original drawing. 🥲 You find out it's not so easy to be to replicate your characters flawlessly from memory. But don't be discouraged. Here are some tips to help you get there 💖

Does your OC have limits to their goal? You didn't see but I had several contortionist-level photos of my own hands scrunching papers for reference off screen. Proud of the table one. That one I did myself & double checked it with photo ref!! Getting better at this hands thing 😆 I've only been seriously drawing since I was a KID. I'm 31!! This is what I imagine Ailing would look like if one of the monks & nuns (less in the DND sense and more in the religious one) told her, essentially: "Little one, we follow the Way of the Cycle. What has life must lose it. What has lost its life brings new lives. We're fine with seeing the end of ours as it allows others to prosper. PLEASE don't give us a cure for this; it's not a curse but an important inevitably. " Has she said this to any of the old folks who raised her? Absolutely the EFF NOT She just decided to go exploring the world looking for different things that could cure ☠️ As you do Also she's a Way of the Long 💀 monk MOSTLY because I thought it fit her obsession with prolonging some people's lives over what she was taught Long story short, she came out of a fight with vampire spawn having taken 0 damage, gained 14 temp HP, and FULLY convinced that she is unstoppable. So wise. And yet. So dumb. Also: I know she's kinda Maomao adjacent. I think Ailing's personality would slot well into the friends Maomao has (cheerful, hard working, has knowledge and obsession with something that is helpful to Maomao) and yet her constant assertion that immortality is a THING that CAN be made would probably piss off Maomao, who is more of a realist. However... She also has a bunch of Monk abilities that Maomao would be interested in... So yeah. If you see the overlap I fully admit to having thought of it before!! #MarchOCMadness #drawingpractice #ocideas #ocprompt #drawyouroc Dungeons and dragons original character drawing idea prompt OC idea apothecary Diaries arrtx acrylic paint pens sketchbook doodle rendering
