I like the shape of oversized sweaters and slipovers so i made XL size with 4,5 needles and it took almost 400g of yarn (100g/250m)

Od pierwszego do ostatniego oczka.
Bardzo podobają mi się rolki, w których widać etapy pracy nad konkretną rzeczą.
Wczoraj siadłam tylko na chwilę, aby przygotować rolkę na dziś, a zajęło mi to ponad godzinę. Montaże, przycinanie, wydłużanie – to naprawdę złodzieje czasu.

A na drutach ten sam sweter, tylko w kolorze szałwii. Już podzieliłam na przód, tył i rękawy, więc czeka mnie teraz przyjemne, spokojne dzierganie do samego ściągacza.

I saw a picture of a sweater in these colors and had to have it! Asked my trusted Reddit group what yarn might create a similar color pattern and here we are. Pattern is Cloud Sweater by @petiteknit and yarn is @dropsdesign fiesta rainbow sprinkles held with their kid-silk strawberry ice cream. 9 balls of fiesta and 5 of kid-silk with a bit leftover. I find such joy in making. Is it perfect? No. Do I love it? You bet! Start where you are, learn as you go and don’t feel pressure to buy expensive tools or yarn. This can be an affordable hobby! Start with dishcloths. Cute and useful🧶
This is @kismetyarn Premium Melange Acrylic. I got it locally for about R50/ball. It’s a thick yarn so goes quite far and the work is quicker than my normal knits. This pattern can be found on Drops Design. It’s called Sand Valley. Full disclosure though. I stick to patterns like I stick to recipes.(NOT WELL) you often have to substitute yarns here for something similar or what you’re after. If you use a similar weight and gauge you can work out correct sizing. I used the pattern to get sizing and shape. I shortened the body - short torso girlie - and lengthened the sleeves. I also bring my sleeves in at the wrists because I have small wrists and don’t like sleeves that aren’t fitted. That’s personal preference.
