I finally checked out brunch at Ambar and now I understand why people say it’s one of DC’s best bottomless brunch spots. 🍳🥂 The brunch is $37 per person and everything comes out as unlimited small plates, which honestly might be my favorite way to brunch because you can try a little bit of everything. Some standouts for me were the steak, waffles, mac & cheese, shrimp & grits, and the Balkan sausage. Every time a plate came out, I was already thinking about what I wanted to order next 😩 Of course we had to add the drinks. You can do $15 for the classic package (mimosas & sangrias) or $22 for premium cocktails. If you go, I highly recommend the Kiwi Smash or the margarita. 🍹 And if you’re feeling a little adventurous, try rakia, the traditional Balkan brandy. We ended brunch with baklava, which was the perfect sweet finish.
