In a world that constantly asks us to do more, go faster, and stay plugged in, we often forget that our greatest source of healing is free, abundant, and waiting for us.
Whether it’s the rhythmic pull of the ocean, the silent wisdom of the forest, or the life-giving warmth of the sun, nature is the ultimate recalibration for your soul. When we return to the wild, we return to ourselves. 🌊🌲☀️
Today, let the earth hold your worries and the sky expand your vision. You are home.
🌿 SHARE this with a soul who needs a reminder to breathe and reconnect with the wild.

🌲I tried ‘forest therapy’. Here’s the long short on what it did to my mental health:
🛫I’ve been traveling for 7 years. Even though my life is centered around my travels— and I very much made it that way— there’s something to be said for the distraction of constantly being on the move finding temporary homes and communities. It’s immersive and connecting, yet, elusive and fleeting.
🌹At my core, I am someone who appreciates the small moments in life on the road. But between a busy production schedule, travel, and day to day responsibilities, I also have a continuous loop of to-do’s in my head.
🍃I first heard about forest bathing from my brother a few years ago, and was fascinated by it. It’s that innate feeling we know about nature; spending more time in it makes you feel better.
🚘Earlier this year I drove to Montana and rented a house in the forests of the Flathead Valley. At the time, I was in a dark place about my work and other personal things going on in my life.
🌿In the tranquility of the woods, I started to feel soothed. I took morning and evening walks with guided forest therapy meditations. I spent so much time just standing still in the forest, looking at the entire tree from top to bottom, watching the sunlight flicker. The more I zeroed in on the forest, the quieter my thoughts became. During the month I spent in the woods, I felt content and acceptance. Which was precisely my intention in seeking forest therapy. To calm my roar of thoughts to a low buzz, and find some peace.
You don’t have to drive out to the wilderness for forest therapy. The practice can be as simple as taking a walk in any natural environment and consciously connecting with the world around you. I’ve taken what I’ve learned from my guided meditations, and I’ll take a walk around the block with this same practice. Have you tried forest therapy?

What is forest bathing?
The Japanese practice of forest bathing, or Shinrin-yoku (森林ーよく), is a method of ecotherapy where you immerse yourself in nature and connect with the sights, sounds, and energies around you to reduce stress levels, boost immunity, and improve overall wellbeing.
Despite the name, you don’t need to be in an actual forest to experience the benefits of this practice. Forest bathing can be as simple as walking in any natural environment and consciously connecting with your surroundings.
While forest bathing, you can quietly observe nature, breathe deeply, and take in the forest environment through your senses. Research has shown that nature-based mindfulness practices like forest bathing can lead to meaningful health benefits that can improve your quality of life and longevity.
If you have the time, we’d love to invite you to take a mindful moment with us - even if it’s just for the duration of this reel 🤍

The secrets and lore of Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) 🌱⛑⚕️ with Head Gardener of the Queen Elizabeth Hall Roof Garden
Do you know the story behind the not-so-secret garden on top of our Queen Elizabeth Hall?
The garden was created by Grounded Ecotherapy. A recovery programme that provides support for a team of incredible gardening volunteers, some of whom may have experienced problems with substance dependency, mental health and/or homelessness, by providing therapy through horticulture.

“We learn from school how to exploit resources, we don’t learn how to create resources.” — Ernst Götsch, creator of Syntropic Farming.
Over the weekend, I had the privilege of deepening my alignment to all 3 of my purpose pillars — Connection to Self, Connection to Land, Connection to Community— at the beautiful regenerative farm @onalittlewild, through a 2-day immersive Introduction to Syntropic Agroforestry workshop. I’m so grateful that the threads of my climate network have led me to this community, and I know this is just a first of many more visits to this beautiful food forest! 🍍🌳
Beyond learning the principles of agroforestry, the weekend reminded me of my need to move a little more intentionally and slowly so I can be fully present to my human and non-human kin. The weekend also reminded me that amidst the world’s suffering and disasters, hope still exists. In building alternative systems that support a wellbeing economy. In reframing how personal wealth is measured. In shifting mindsets to embrace a more generative way of living over an extractive existence.
Our time on this Earth is so brief, we might as well be brave and question the status quo. If there is one takeaway I hope you gain from this, it’s that we all hold so much power to influence change, no matter how tiny it may seem. Make art, volunteer, dance, whatever that form may look like for you to contribute to the regeneration of our planet, I see you and believe in your power 💚

We slowed down. We breathed deeply. We soaked in the beauty and wonder of Hallam Lake.
At this year’s Aspen Ideas Festival, attendees started their mornings immersing themselves in an ecotherapy practice rooted in ancient Japanese tradition: shinrin-yoku, or #forestbathingtherapy .
Led by certified forest therapy guide Melanie Choukas-Bradley—and inspired by the words of poets and thinkers like Mary Oliver and Henry David Thoreau—we explored the mental, emotional, and physical benefits of reconnecting with nature, one quiet step and mindful breath at a time.
Your reminder to let today be enough before you reach for tomorrow 🫶🏽
I was standing under these trees this weekend, not doing anything, not thinking about the week ahead, just... there. and it reminded me, again, how much of a gift presence actually is 🌸
We spend so much of our lives half here, already worrying about what’s next, what we haven’t done yet, what tomorrow will demand.
& this moment reminded me that some of the best moments don’t ask anything of you, they just ask you to notice & be present ✨

This is the one thing that always cheers the kids (and me!) up when we need a bit of a boost. Getting outside to run around, explore and do a bit of adventuring makes ALL of the difference to our moods.
We spent a sunny afternoon at @grafhamwatercentre today - the kids are happy wherever we go as long as there are sticks to find and space to chase each other about in. Extra points if there’s an ice-cream at the end too 😄
What’s your go-to answer when you or your kids need a pick-me-up?

All three kids wore their @kickerskidsuk Kick Hi shoes today, SO fab for running around in! (They make me feel so nostalgic for my childhood!!) These were an ad-pr product 💗
