It’s been said the Ed Roth created Rat Fink in direct opposition to the Disney-mania of the 1960s. Rat Fink has gone from a sketch on a diner napkin, to a counter culture icon. A form of light hearted rebellion that could only have come from the mind of a true creative genius. A rat Fink t-shirt will never go out of style, because they were never IN style. And that’s kind the point. #lowbrowart #art #monsterart #hotrodart #kustomkulture #ratfink #hotrod #kustom #weirdo #1960s #1990stoys #toycommercial #pinstriping #counterculture #edroth

Finally figured out a proper display for the original mold for Ed Roth’s OUTLAW, and the first body out of the new mold that Jimmy C did a number of years ago, @custom_built_machines & I had a lot of fun making this! Last night Robert Williams was telling me the story of how after he saw the original mold on the roof of Roth Studios when he and Suzanne worked there in the 60s, he asked Ed if he could have it… and got no response. A couple hours later Jim (Jake) Jacobs came up to Bob and said hey, Roth just gave me the molds for the outlaw that were on the roof, do you want them because I don’t know what to do with them!! And that’s how the mold for the very first fiberglass Hot Rod was saved… and last night Bob and Suzanne were really happy seeing it displayed properly after all these years! @eric.gas made the giant model box for the top… Another great addition to an ever evolving place… #galpinspeedshop #edroth #ratfink #showcar #showrod #history #carporn #kustomkulture #lowbrow #builtnotbought #outlaw #revell

I met a lot of people at Daytona Bike Week who never got to meet Larry. I’d never met anyone anything like him, or like @paulcoxindustries . Watching these guys glide along on that windy highway in Sturgis just never gets old. @indianlarrymotorcycles #sturgis #daytona #bikeweek #daytonabikeweek #harleydavidson #chopper #panhead #ratfink #harley #edroth #stunt #stuntriding #stuntrider #indianlarry #paulcox #motorcycle #billylane #choppersinc #kidrock
