The story behind this flag: Since our first trip in our 2022 Alpha Wolf, Tom has always called trips a "deployment". While outsiders may think we are just livin life, he still has to work. We are blessed that he has been a remote worker for over 15 years, before it was cool. So, when some say things like, "have a good vacation", he reminds them that it is like a deployment, he has to work. Now, when we chose to spend Kentucky winters in Gulf Shores, he immediately gave it a "deployment name"... i.e. Operation Snapper Biscuit. Up until late 2025, I had not bought into his vision. Then, I decided, it was my assignment to create the logo and bring his vision to life. Thus...this logo was born. We also have tshirts, magnets, lanyards, cups and lens cleaning cloths. If we cross paths, we are apt to share some swag with ya!! . #OSB2026
Looking forward to one of my favorite scouting events @chiefseattlecouncil609, @jordanhanssen, @museumofflight

This past Saturday, the @blue_ridge_honor_flight hosted a pre-flight orientation at @biltmorechurch Arden Campus, bringing together the Veterans, Gold Star families, and Guardians who will be traveling with us to Washington, D.C. on Saturday, April 18. It was a meaningful time to connect, meeting the leadership team, medical staff, and fellow travelers, while walking through the details of the day ahead. From travel logistics and the day’s itinerary to medical guidance and support, every piece is designed to ensure our heroes feel prepared, comfortable, and honored every step of the way. With just 17 days to go, we’re getting closer—and we can’t wait to take this journey together. 🇺🇸 #BlueRidgeHonorFlight #HonorFlight #HonorOurVeterans #Veterans #GoldStarFamilies
We love Honor Flight! Thank you for taking time to give these men and women an experience of a lifetime! Whether you're our local chapter or another across the country, thank you!
Spanning over 1,000 square miles in California’s Mojave Desert, Fort Irwin is the largest U.S. Army training center, preparing soldiers from WWII to modern Middle East operations. After completing tough exercises, soldiers leave their mark—painting rocks to celebrate success and honor their units. A tradition of pride, history, and resilience. #FortIrwin #ArmyTraining #PaintedRocks #MilitaryHistory #mojavedesert
With deep respect for the United States Navy Seabees, I would like to share this tribute artwork in honor of the 84th Anniversary of the Naval Construction Force. March 5, 1942 – March 5, 2026 This tribute is personal to me. I am the son of a Seabee — my father MR1 PO1 Alfredo A. de Leon, who proudly served as part of the Seabee community. Growing up, I learned about the Seabee spirit through him — the work ethic, the courage, and the enduring motto: “CAN DO.” For more than eight decades, Seabees have carried a unique mission — building critical infrastructure for the United States Navy and our nation while standing ready to defend what they build. Airfields, ports, bases, roads, and vital facilities around the world have been constructed under some of the most difficult conditions imaginable. The Seabees are truly known as “The Fighting Builders.” This artwork is simply a humble tribute to honor all Seabees past and present, and the families who have supported them. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. Happy 84th Birthday to the United States Navy Seabees. ⚓ CAN DO ⚓ If any Seabee veterans, families, organizations, or museums would like a high-resolution copy of this tribute artwork for commemorative or personal printing, I would be honored to provide it freely for that purpose. #
