Painful hair removal has always been a no for me. Waxing? Absolutely not. Razors? They leave me with bumps and ingrowns. That’s why I’ve always relied on hair removal creams and Veet has been my go-to for years. So I was so excited to come across @estebare_, a Nigerian brand with product focuses on painless, stress-free hair removal. They kindly sent me their Hair Removal Cream, After Care Gel and Facial Hair Remover (gifted, but all thoughts are my own). ✨ Facial Hair Remover At the time of this video, I'd plucked my chin hairs three days prior but the device worked surprisingly well at clearing the short regrowth that was starting to show up. It was completely painless, removed the hairs completely and was easy to use. It comes with a LED light, charging cable and small cleaning brush. According to the brand, it can last up to a year so I look forward to testing that claim out. ✨ Hair Removal Cream This is a thick white lotion designed to sit on the skin for no more than five minutes before removal with the provided spatula. I tested it on my arms, which are quite hairy, and within four minutes every strand lifted off cleanly, leaving smooth skin behind. I’ve also tried it on my underarms with equally good results. What stood out most was the scent; it doesn’t carry the usual sharp, unpleasant smell of most depilatory creams. Whew. Sharing this video was tough. It took me back to the days I was trying to raise money for EsteBare and it just wasn’t working. (We’ve come so far and we’re so close!
