Hosting rage for the first time in over thirty years, and breaking the record for longest time between rage hostings, is @thelemonheadsofficial founder, frontman, and solo artist Evan Dando!   We last caught up with the Boston musician way back in 1994, shortly after the release of two of The Lemonheads’ most beloved albums - 1992’s It’s a Shame About Ray and 1993’s Come on Feel the Lemonheads. More than three decades later and the indie-rock legends recently returned to Australia to perform both albums in their entirety, so of course we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get Evan back on the show for a rage full circle moment.   He’ll be playing a stack of clips that have inspired his many projects over the years, plus some new tracks off The Lemonheads upcoming album, Love Chant - the band’s first record of new material in almost twenty years which is set to be released next month.   Tune in this Saturday from 10:30am and 11:15pm on ABC TV.

Head to our website to preorder and make sure you're in the running!* "You give something of yourself away when you put your picture on the cover of a magazine. That’s not in the contract, and it’s not something that anyone ever tells you, but it’s definitely part of the deal. You lose it and you never get it back.” - Evan Dando *all existing preorders have already been included

@LucindasNYC great to see @TheLemonheadsOfficial play a free pop-up show, with head Lemonhead Evan Dando joined by longtime friend @JohnPStrohm (Blake Babies) and newest Lemonhead @ErinRaeMusic for an hour-long set of some of Dando's finest tunes and unexpected covers (including Blake Babies, Dinosaur Jr., John Lennon, Gram Parsons & Emmylou Harris, The Rolling Stones, Townes Van Zandt, Smudge, Cheap Trick and snippets of Gang of Four and Wings, like a walk though the musical brain of Dando). Here's the full "It's a Shame About Ray" from the classic 1992 LP of the same name. Thanks @Diane.Gentile! #GoodMusic #Lemonheads #EvanDando #JohnPStrohm #ErinRae #ItsAShameAboutRay #IndieRock #LucindasNYC
