Why minimal layering? Because sometimes the goal is movement without sacrificing fullness. For this haircut, I kept the layers minimal and focused on soft face-framing and soft bangs to create shape around the face while keeping the overall length looking full and substantial. The result: soft, effortless movement without making the ends feel thin or overly layered. I think in this situation the “star of the show” is face framing and the fringe. It gives the hair shape and movement and ties everything together. And the rest of the hair still feels full. To add to this, her texture is naturally wavy so she’ll have plenty of movement overall.
