TRIP12 syndrome is an ultra-rare genetic condition that can cause distinct facial features — like a wider nasal bridge, fuller cheeks, wide eye shape, spaced out teeth, and a prominent forehead. Every face tells a story, and hers is one of strength, joy, and uniqueness. 💛 #TRIP12Syndrome #RareDiseaseAwareness #FacialDifferences #Trip12 #DisabilityEducation
This video made me upset and it’s horrible that this still happens. People with facial differences are judged everyday and someone people also think it’s ok to make a joke. Think again because people with facial differences are beautiful and they deserve to be seen and to be treated equally. Some people still think it’s ok to target them and say things about them. I’m always fighting to help more people with facial differences and to help people fight through the difficult times. @littlelizziev is a huge inspiration and she helps to inspire people. I watched her ted talk and she talks about kindness and supporting others. She is a kind person and she doesn’t deserve hate from people or people who makes jokes. Please share this video so more people will understand what people will facial differences go through everyday ❤️❤️ #disability #disability #disabilityawareness #bekind #choosekindness #disabilityrights #disabilityadvocate #disabilityinclusion #disabilitylife #disabilitycommunity #onlinebullying #bullying #discrimination #disabilities #disabilityactivism #bekindalways #bekindtoeveryone

Jono Lancaster was born with Treacher Collins syndrome, a condition that affects the development of facial bones and tissues. Shortly after birth, his biological parents abandoned him, leaving him in the hospital. He was then adopted by a loving woman named Jean, who raised him with care and support. Growing up, Jono faced challenges because of his facial differences, but he learned to accept himself and turn his experiences into a positive purpose. As an adult, he became an advocate for people with facial differences, sharing his story to inspire hope and self-acceptance. He co-founded the Love Me Love My Face Foundation, which works to raise awareness about craniofacial conditions and support children and families facing similar challenges. Through public speaking, social media, and personal interactions, Jono encourages children to embrace who they are, promotes compassion, and shows that childhood rejection does not define one’s future. #fblifestyle
Let’s get Smarter in Seconds about facial differences with @burnedbeauty2018, @isarhiannon, and @carlyfindlay! The term “facial differences” can be applied to anyone whose appearance from the neck up deviates from socially expected norms. Facial differences are more common than you might realize and can be from any cause whether at birth or throughout life due to injury, illness, aging, environmental factors, or medical conditions. Over the past few decades the term facial differences has emerged as the more common, neutral, and respectful term instead of outdated and dehumanizing language that described us as “deformed,” or “disfigured.” Unfortunately there are multiple forms of discrimination based on faces. Under the umbrella of lookism, which is discrimination based on general appearance, there is discrimination based on facial differences, which has to do with ableism and featurism, the social marginalization and systemic oppression of people based on facial features that has to do with racial and ethnic discrimination. People with facial differences are people just like anyone else, and if you thought otherwise that might be due to ableism. While some may tell you to see the person, not the facial difference, remember that you can do both. Confront your biases and your ableism, and don’t participate in dehumanizing behavior.

You might say we have a blind spot. Facial differences don’t always register. If anything, we’re conditioned to find them adorable.
Sign №1: Facial Asymmetry
Fluctuating facial asymmetry, which refers to small differences between the left and right sides of the face, is considered a marker of developmental instability. Multiple studies have found that individuals with antisocial personality traits tend to exhibit higher levels of facial asymmetry. In female psychopaths, these differences may be noticeable in the shape or positioning of the eyebrows, the corners of the mouth, or the contours of the face. Such asymmetry may reflect the impact of prenatal and early postnatal stressors on development and can also influence the formation of neural systems that regulate emotions. #facereading #psychologytricks #psychology #readpeople
