And. With that. He lives again.
Fargus has a new(ish) heart.
Slight upgrade, we have gone from 40hp, to a whopping, 60hp
For those who are not so quick on the math, that’s 19 more horse power. Tiny tiny horses. More Shetland than horse.
Nevertheless, we’re on our way to the Gold Coast.
The motor was salvaged from an old water pump. VW sold the motor units to lots of companies, some turned them into things like generators and water pumps.
Several bits and bobs were modified to accomodate the solid state setups, but the basics were the same.
This motor had about 500 hours on it. So a relatively low number in the grand scheme of things.
Ben @ebs_and_flo_vintage saved the day, once again. A gentleman and a scholar! Thank you!

Promo for Dante’s Pizza! 🍕
“A Slice of West Park”
Dante’s has been a West Park staple since 1963. Thanks to the Fargus family taking the reins in 2010, Dante’s continues to thrive. Recipes and passion rooted in tradition, and love for the community. Located in West Park, Dante’s offers a refreshing twist to the Cleveland pizza scene.
The goal for this promo was simple;
- Keep a retro/authentic feel, and capture the vibe of the business as a whole.
- Stay true to the branding.
- Show off the hard work this team puts in everyday, and the incredible food they create.
I highly suggest giving Dante’s a try and specifically the “hot honey pie”, which blew me away! 🔥
