Fly girl ran her very first fastcat! She came in just shy of 33 mph!
Day 3 training Aj for his upcoming FastCat invitational🏁
Aj doesn’t like to show off in front of other dogs, so today we ran around in a private yard at the dog park! It was perfect practice for him running next to strange dogs.
Nothing better than seeing a well-bred xolo move 💕

I'd spend all the money in the world to see my dogs as happy as Arlo is to chase a trash bag!

Fast Cat for the win 🏆
With Pieck being dog selective I never thought she would be a dog sport dog. Around dogs she knows she’s great, but some dogs causes reactivity.
As soon as we arrived at this event we didn’t have 1 reaction and she killed it out there! It was interesting to see that she was thrilled to chase, but when she got to the bag she was like “ughhh now what?” 😂

Competing in FastCAT is like having a dog run in the Kentucky Derby. Currently as of 5/27/26, Ripley is the second fastest Giant Schnauzer and with one more run like she had today, she’s going to move up to number one in the country 🤯🤞🎉 We’re running all weekend at the Oklahoma City Summer Classic and I can’t wait to see how she does. So far today she beat her personal best by a full 1mph and the track was wet! #fastcat #giantschnauzer #workingdog #racing #runlikeagirl
Fast CAT with Anubis 💨
If you’ve never heard of FastCAT, it’s a 100-yard dash where dogs chase a lure as fast as they can. Their speed is timed and converted into MPH.
Anubis absolutely loves it, we’ve done it a few times now! The second he sees the field, he knows exactly what’s about to happen. If you have a high-prey-drive dog, you know the excitement (and barking, lunging, and anticipation) that comes with it. 😂
My job = releasing him.
And let me tell you, handling a dog that excited is no joke it’s definitely a workout. For reference, I’m 5 feet tall and about 105 lbs. 💪😂
Dad’s job = being the catcher at the finish line.
Although we switch things up every run!
His times today: ⚡️ 7.39 & 7.38
Have you ever tried Fast CAT with your dog? 👇🐾

Her top speed was 26.98mph today! Gotta break that 27mph mark next 😮💨👏🏼
Have you tried Fast CAT?
As of today, 05/28/26, Ripley is the fastest #giantschnauzer in the country. We know this will change as more dogs run and their FastCAT times come in, but for this moment on this day, we’re enjoying it while it lasts, lol! #fastcatdog #runlikeagirl #viraldog #schnauzer @downlowkennels
