OUR FAVOURITE MEAL OF 2025 SO FAR @fatrabbit Thoughts 💭 ⬇️⬇️ Best sticky toffee dessert we've ever had, no exaggeration. Top tier charcuterie cuts and combinations. The tuna tartare was surprisingly mind-blowing. Plates & cutlery way too fancy for a butcher shop. Top notch service. Need to come back for dinner. 🫰🏻follow @lawlam.eats for more food recs . 📍 34 Geneva St, St. Catharines, ON L2R 4M4 . . #stickytoffee #stcatherines #fatrabbit #butcher #ontario #farm #dessert #torontofood #narcitytoronto #tastetoronto

We made it to Niagara. But the dinner scene out there is kind of ehhhh. I drove us 20 minutes away to St. Catharines so we can grab a good meal. And what a meal it was, holy cow! @fatrabbit has just become one of my all time favorite restaurants. This place is next level. It’s Michelin recommended but it should have a star or 2. I think I’ll have to send them a WDYETS APPROVED sticker. Hopefully they’d stick it in the window with pride but even if they threw it in the trash can, I’m still gonna hype them up. Why? Because they fucking deserve it! That’s why. There was not 1 dish to hit that table that didn’t blow my mind. From the raw scallop, to the charcuterie to the mixed grill & dessert. Everything was top notch. Fat Rabbit is a butcher shop. But not a typical butcher shop, they’re a whole animal butchery. They utilize the whole animal. And the meats are available for sale by the pound. I wish I got to meet the owner but I did talk to some of the cooks on his line and I let them know what a great job they’re doing. The summer squash, I need it again. @fatrabbit , I love you. Thank you. God bless you. I hope to come by again sometime day. #fyp #foryou #fatrabbit #stcatharines #ontariofood #foodiesofontario #foodiesofstcatharines #niagrafalls #niagrafallsfood #dinner #niagrafallscanada #canadian #fatrabbit #michelinstar #wdyets #supportlocalbusiness #butchershop #comedy #sogood #eatgood

MICHELIN recommended Butcher Shop/Restaurant 1.5 hrs from Toronto @fatrabbit 🐰 This place was recommended by @lawlam.eats , @just.tonyh and @insta.noodls - of course I had to check it out! It was the perfect stop along the way to Niagara Falls. This is a butcher shop and restaurant - you can sit down and try their dishes and also shop the variety of meats, cheeses and charcuterie they had in the shop. Here’s what I tried: 🐰Ribeye steak 🐰BLT burger 🐰Kimchi burger 🐰Charcuterie for 2 I NEED to go back for the toffee pudding. We were just too full after our meal 😭 - major regrets. 📍Fat Rabbit - 34 Geneva St, St. Catharines, ON #fatrabbit #butchershop #restaurant #michelin #stcatherines

my favourite meal of 2025 so far? the answer is yes ✨ and it’s no surprise when @fatrabbit has been racking up awards, praise from the industry’s top tastemakers and @michelinguide recognition ever since they’ve opened in 2023. this restaurant and whole animal butchery is everything you need and more for a supreme dining experience, plus there’s a real butcher counter and grab n go area to take it home with you, too. 📍@fatrabbit in @visit_niagara on the table: charcuterie: coppa + summer sausage + culatello + head cheese cheese: beemster xo + saint agur blue small plates: sourdough + olives + pickle plate ✨ tritip steak ✨ mixed grill plate ✨ winter greens with crispy quinoa, sprouted legume and Niagara gold cheese ✨ smoked carrots with pomegranate yogurt, pistachio dukkah and berbere spice ✨ mushroom lasagna, bechemel and grilled oyster mushroom dessert: sticky toffee pudding + Chateau de Bourgogne cheese with maple syrup 📸 credit to @tofoodies #fatrabbit #visitniagara #michelinguide #cbnr #tofoodies

Episode 10 of “have you met your neighbour” Located on Geneeva in @downtownstcatharines you’ll find @fatrabbit They are a restaurant, butcher shop, bottle shop and even offer catering. They focus on the lesser known cuts of meat as well as pastured whole animals. We came for my brothers 30th and had to go all in with their rib steak and striploin, which were cooked to perfection. I had also been dying to try their daytime sandwiches so I went with the porchetta, and this was definitely the best sandwich i’ve had. Come Check it out, I promise you won’t be disappointed. #fatrabbit #stcatharinesontario #stcatherines #niagarafood #niagaraeats

Fat pets are not chonky or cute, they are obese and this puts their health and welfare at risk! Carrying that extra weight leaves them prone to diseases like painful arthritis, diabetes and urinary issues to name just a few. And the reason they are too large, is because we have let them get that way! Some breeds and pets ARE more likely to gain weight, Labradors for example can carry.a gene which gives them a bigger appetite and makes them prone to becoming fat, and we know the change in a neutered pet's metabolism also leaves them vulnerable to being heavier. However, this is no excuse! It is up to us as responsible pet owners to ensure our pets stay slim and healthy and this can be achieved by feeding a great quality pet food that meets their individual needs, keeping the treats to a minimum (which are often a much bigger culprit for pets being overwieght than their regular meals!) and ensuring they get plenty of appropriate exercise. For more information on how to tell if your pet is too porky and advice on how to help them shed the pounds, check out my friend @thefatvetnurse, @teampdsa’s Weigh Up, @icatcare’s obesity pages and @the_rabbit_welfare_association’s diet advice for rabbits! #fatpets #fatdog #fatcat #fatrabbit #obesitykills #catthevet #cutebutnot
