Kurator Dr. Roman Zieglgänsberger hat sich für uns direkt in ein Werk aus der aktuellen Sonderausstellung „Feininger, Münter, Modersohn-Becker … Oder wie Kunst ins Museum kommt“ hineingebeamt ❄️ Adolf Erbslöhs Gemälde „Winter“ entstand 1910, kurz nach seiner Begegnung mit Alexej von Jawlensky. Die leuchtenden Farben und die klare Formensprache zeigen, wie stark dieser Austausch seine Malerei beeinflusste.

Curator Dr Roman Zieglgänsberger has taken us straight into a work from the current special exhibition ‘Feininger, Münter, Modersohn-Becker... Or, How Art Finds Its Way into the Museum’. Adolf Erbslöh’s painting ‘Winter’ was created in 1910, shortly after his encounter with Alexej von Jawlensky. The bright colours and clear forms show how strongly this exchange influenced his painting.

An der Hochschule Anhalt tauchten Schülerinnen und Schüler des Lyonel-Feininger-Gymnasiums aus Halle (Saale) heute in spannende Themen rund um Nachhaltigkeit und innovative Energieressourcen ein.
Auch Sachsen-Anhalts Bildungsminister Jan Riedel nutzte die Gelegenheit für einen Besuch am Campus Köthen.
Im Workshop entdeckten die Neuntklässler:innen, was Wasserstoff einzigartig macht, und erlebten Solarzellen, Elektrolyseure und Brennstoffzellen im Experiment.
Danach führte Prof. Dr. Fabian Herz die Gruppe durch eine Praktikums- und Forschungshalle des Fachbereichs Angewandte Biowissenschaften und Prozesstechnik und erklärte, wie Lithiumbatterien recycelt werden können.

Today, students from the Lyonel-Feininger-Gymnasium in Halle (Saale) explored fascinating topics related to sustainability and innovative energy resources at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.
Jan Riedel, Saxony-Anhalt’s Minister of Education, also took the opportunity to visit Campus Köthen.
During the workshop, the ninth graders learned what makes hydrogen unique and gained hands-on experience with solar cells, electrolysers, and fuel cells.
Then, Prof. Dr. Fabian Herz guided the group through a laboratory and research hall at the Department of Applied Biosciences and Process Engineering and explained how lithium batteries can be recycled.

We are very happy to bring Lyonel Feininger's oil painting "Windmühle in Werder" from 1922 to @tefaf
The work is an extremely dynamic composition and represents an outstanding example of the artist’s oeuvre during the early Bauhaus period. Feininger’s characteristically opalescent palette is used to full effect here. The darker mosaic shapes of the windmill stand out scultpural and solid from the glowing gray sky. The windmill seems to be charged with energy and the city’s buildings as well as the surrounding area are construced witch striking colours such as green, dark and light blue, yellow, red and grey. The overlaying colors and shapes give the painting a dramatic energy.
