The guide arms help locate the bike, before the stand lifts from dedicated pickups on the forks to keep the front end stable and give the mechanics the clearance they need for a rapid front wheel change. But watch the front brake calipers as the wheel comes out 👀 As the wheel is removed, the calipers pivot outwards on their mounts to help the wheel come out cleanly, before the new one slots straight back into place.
