Found this little memo to myself from a year ago on my phone and almost deleted it - and then remembered:
I’m no longer hiding.
In this moment, I felt so broken.
Looking back at her a year later, I feel nothing but proud.
Proud because she was scared but brave.
Proud because she knew she deserved better - and she didn’t wait around to be saved.
I‘m not done yet.
And I can’t wait to find out what’s next.

1. Take a solo trip to a place you always wanted to visit
2. Create a piece of art
3. Get rid of something in your home that always bothered you
4. Plan a full day nature getaway
5. Get the haircut you’ve been overthinking for years
6. Grow something from a seed
7. Spend one full day without social media
8. Sell or donate an item tied to an past version of you
9. Take yourself on a date in your own city
10. Invest in one thing you always wanted to do
11. Sign up for something your future self would do (even if you don’t feel ready yet)
12. Write a letter to your old self to let her go
13. Write a letter to your future self to welcome her
14. Start a small ritual that marks this era
15. Choose silence over background noise (no tv, no scrolling)
16. Curate your social media and unfollow accounts that belong to your old aspirations
17. Clean out your closet and leave only what fits this version of you.
18. Read a book for fun - not to learn something
19. Take yourself to a museum, exhibit, or event alone.
20. Start documenting this era just for yourself (one photo a week, regular journal entries)

Since I left my job, I’ve been thinking a LOT about what my true purpose is.
I’ve tried a few things, thought about a few more…
and the thing I keep coming back to..
is family, love, and making people feel seen.
I built my platforms on providing value.
Fitness tips, study tips, and career advice.
But for the first time ever, I want to do something different.
I want to provide comfort 🤍
Not just free tips,
But content that helps you…
✨ Feel SEEN & UNDERSTOOD
✨ Feel like you are ENOUGH, even when you’re not achieving or performing
✨ Feel empowered to EMBRACE your heritage
✨ Feel FREE to show up exactly as you are, 100% you
And I think, the best way for me to do that, is to share my stories.
I’d love to talk about how my experiences shaped who I am today,
and the lessons I learnt growing up as an immigrant, an eldest daughter, and an overachiever.
This next chapter is going to be raw, real, and from the heart.
And down the track.. this MAY (very likely) involve in a Podcast.

You will!!! Life gets better… ok more chaotic too 😅
But mostly life got SOOO much better… about a year ago when Elsie turned 1 I felt like “omg I’m not back to myself yet oh no” 2 years later I’ve realised I don’t want to be back to my old self… there were things I LOVE about her & I still have them just in the new version of me ♥️ if you’re still in midst of finding who you are as a mum now I see you ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ you’re doing amazing 🥹
