Phew, glad we got that over with! I’m sooo excited to watch this space completely transform once I’m finished installing my new floors. I’m going with Elite Beam from @hewnfloor and floating it directly over the existing hardwoods. First up… removing the old carpet! As on brand as the green is… she 👏🏼 has 👏🏼 to 👏🏼 go. I’ll add in some OSB plywood to make everything level and then all systems go for install!

✨️Dieses kleine Hexenhäuschen sah vor meinem Einzug noch ganz anders aus. Nachdem ich meine eigenen Möbel mitgebracht, meinen Stil eingebracht und ein paar Details angepasst habe, ist daraus ein Zuhause geworden, das genau mich widerspiegelt.

I’m not starting for a few more days but did want to go ahead and share our Christmas porch from a few years back for anyone already looking inspiration! They’ve gotten more elaborate over the years but this one was my most loved! I did it two years in row…it’s okay to repeat your decor!
Here are a few easy steps to get your porch ready for the season:
1. Layer a neutral scatter or jute rug and welcome mat. This exact jute rug is no longer available but I’ll link some similar ones.
2. Add baskets or planters and fill with trees...don’t be afraid to use faux! These cedar trees seriously look incredible and they’ve held up outside for years!
3. Top it off with wreaths and bells!
