Little recap from @flascot games. First you gotta have your sound up to fully enjoy how awesome this games was. This was my first Pro/Am and it was a blast! Throwing with the big boys just showed me how much more I can push in this sport. Everyone was super cool, rooting for each other all day, having fun and tons of laughs. Throwing was pretty dang good considering I don’t throw these heavier weights too often. Took 3rd in both stones which was great cause these guys can launch’em! Got a 2ft PR on HWFD with the 56, a 1ft PR on heavy hammer, perfect 12 on the heaviest caber I’ve ever had and the best part of the day and the best video I got 3ft PR on sheaf in front of an electric crowd. Man the reaction when I cleared it was just special, every attempt they got louder and louder. It took me all 3 attempts at 30ft but to get it and hear them go nuts, again, a memory that will last a lifetime. Part of those fans was probably about 15-20 kids that cheered for me all day. All the medals I got I gave to them but they deserved more so I got all the athletes to sign 15 programs that I handed out to them. It was so cool, we can’t forget that these kids look up to us and a simple high five will put a smile on their face and we made it rain high fives all day! @gslifting you killed brother! The games were incredibly well run, implements all top notch (thanks Danny @clan_webster ) judging awesome (thank you @tedd_van_vleck ). You could just tell how much @gslifting put into this event and it was an honor to throw at your games, I’ll be here anytime you want me. Thank you for everything. Lastly, the #slickbackcrew @isaac.burchett and @nathan_burchett you two are a riot, thank you for getting me out here, chauffeuring me around and opening my door for me everywhere 😂😂. Plus, y’all are both studs on the field and I appreciate all your help and advice. I look forward to seeing you at more games and I hope you and your bags make it home safe.
