Wait till the end for the best bit!
A small recreation of Egg’s stubble technique used in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. White flocking was applied with a flocking gun onto an area of skin painted with prosaide.
Applied by assistant designer @tamaramae_mua

When I started this company, I had no idea how hard it would be to source supplies. Things that used to be, just are no longer made anymore. We have lost so many small craft companies and factories! There are a few supplies I've had to get creative with to try and recreate it myself. I cannot tell you how many fun ideas I have dreamed up, only to abandon them because I could not secure a reliable supply of what I needed. This is also why some of my kits are very small runs. Anywho- all the kits in this video are still available, the only thing we are sold out of is Grandma Nelson Christmas and now Father Christmas (that one is never coming back, I was so lucky to get the vintage egg supply!) link in bio for my website! 🎭 Have you ever heard of FLOCKING? Watch closely 👀 till the end!
This unique practice is a game-changer for actors, focusing on enhancing:
👉 spatial awareness,
👉 group dynamics, and
👉 non-verbal communication.
Additionally, it fosters a sense of ensemble and trust among the group, as participants must rely on each other to create fluid, cohesive movement.
This can be particularly beneficial in theater, where actors often need to work closely as a unit, responding to each other’s cues and energy on stage.
Kelly Maurer, formerly of the SITI Company, is uniquely qualified to share this work with her decades of experience.
