Using basic elements like:🔻 • contraction & release • arms & leg swing • movement suspension • conscious breathing during dance • upper body isolations • basic floorwork elements: simple rolling, side fall, windmill Beginners do not need fancy and complicated tricks. They need well thought and structured choreography with simple steps which are not to hard for them to learn and enjoy dancing. Something that will help them to systematise their knowledge about contemporary dance. Create wisely. Teaching dance to beginners (and all levels) is not about showing off your best skills as a dancer. It’s about your students.
