give me everything spicy and nice 🌶️! I love my mala dry pots and Chinese bbqs so this spot was the perfect blend of the two! Loved how fresh everything was and even their appetizers were amazing. I’m sharing my favorite go to spot in flushing 😋 I only get their char siu fan (叉烧饭) a Cantonese-style BBQ pork rice plate with sweet, caramelized roasted pork over rice, usually served with veggies and sauce. The portion is HUGE. I can barely finish it myself everytime😭 📍Corner 28 135-24 40th Rd, Flushing, NY 11354 💰 $10 normally 💵 20% off if you pay cash → comes out to under $9 for a full meal + water bottle The pork is juicy, slightly smoky, and that sweet glaze that is amazing every time. It’s simple, filling, and exactly what you want when you’re starving. This is honestly one of my go-to spots in Flushing when I just want something reliable, fast, and worth the price. Not only was it enough food for dinner, I had leftovers for the next day too. With 120+ ingredients to choose from and pay-by-weight pricing, you can build exactly the bowl you're craving. Everything was cooked perfectly, the broth had just the right amount of spice, and the whole experience felt like the sweet spot between traditional hot pot and a quick weeknight meal. Here’s why this spot needs to be on your NYC dining list 👇 Traditional Chinese dancers performing live throughout the restaurant with fans and parasol umbrellas 🪭 You literally pause mid-bite because it’s that mesmerizing 😍 The Szechuan menu is no joke. We ordered dandan noodles, pepper beef, salted egg yolk fish fillet, beef tendon, eggplant, edamame, skewers and honestly could have kept going. Portions are generous and everything hit 🌶️ The space itself is huge with an upstairs and downstairs and it genuinely feels like you’ve been transported to somewhere in China!🏮 For me, eating intentionally isn’t just about what’s on the plate. It’s about the full experience, the memories you make, and the places that remind you to actually be present.
