Refreshing another sign writers work is a fun but admittedly interesting project…⁣ ⁣ Yes, the sign writer that painted this originally probably only used 2 chalk lines.⁣ ⁣ Yes it was probably improvised as they painted, no markings at all ⁣ ⁣ But in my opinion, there are some personal choices in the lettering I would not make. (*technically* a few errors, but as I mention, sign writers choice)⁣ ⁣ But actually I think this is part of the beauty of traditional sign writing. A decision made by one is not necessarily the same made by another.⁣ ⁣ And that’s what makes it unique, special, and better (in my opinion) than vinyl. ⁣ ⁣ (In fact absolutely better than vinyl! 😂) ⁣ ⁣ Anyway enjoy this refresher of these lovely landy panels I painted recently! It was fun trying to make the paint look old and worn in ways I’ve not done before 😁⁣ ⁣ ✨ ⁣ ⁣ #artfulcharlie #signwriting #heritagecraft #signwriter #traditionalsignwriter
