"One million dollars!" Dr. Evil (Mike Myers) struggles with current events and inflation in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) —————————————— #mikemyers #austinpowers #cinema #movies #film #comedy #spy #satire #spoof #parody #90smovies #90sfashion #90sstyle #90saesthetic #90svintage #90sthrowback #90snostalgia #vintage #throwback #nostalgia #drevil #funny #camp #scene #video #clip #reel #reels #90s #1990s
Send this to her 😂 (via 🎥: Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery) Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery is the 1997 spy comedy film that kicked off one of the most iconic comedy franchises of the late ‘90s and early 2000s. Written by and starring Mike Myers, it’s a loving parody of 1960s James Bond-style spy movies, full of swinging London vibes, and over-the-top villains. In 1967, flamboyant British superspy Austin Powers (Mike Myers) thwarts his arch-nemesis Dr. Evil (also Myers). Both get cryogenically frozen. Fast-forward to 1997: Dr. Evil thaws out, discovers his old evil plans (like damaging the ozone layer or causing royal scandals) already happened without him, and decides to take over the world with new ridiculous schemes. Austin is defrosted too, but the ‘90s are a very different (and less groovy) place. Teaming up with agent Vanessa Kensington (Elizabeth Hurley), Austin must stop Dr. Evil while navigating culture shock, bad teeth, and his signature catchphrases like “Yeah, baby!” and “Danger’s my middle name.”
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery bloopers perfectly capture the franchise’s absurd spirit. Mike Myers frequently improvised as Austin Powers, Dr. Evil, and Fat Bastard, pushing scenes so far beyond the script that co-stars struggled to stay serious. The laughter behind the camera fueled the parody’s chaotic charm. #AustinPowers #MikeMyers #Bloopers #90sComedy #BehindTheScenes
During the filming of Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002), the fountain scene wasn't scripted. It was supposed to be just a permanent stream, but the water cannon malfunctioned & started sputtering like a sprinkler. Mike Myers stayed in character and improvised Austin's struggle. 😂😂😂 The movie Austin Powers is a spy comedy series created by Mike Myers that parodies classic James Bond films and 1960s British pop culture. The first film introduces Austin, a flamboyant secret agent frozen in the 1960s and awakened decades later, where his outdated charm and behavior clash with the modern world. Much of the humor comes from exaggerated spy tropes, double entendres, and Myers playing multiple characters. Across the trilogy, the films lean into absurdity, physical comedy, and self awareness. Dr. Evil, also played by Myers, became one of the most iconic villains in comedy, especially for mocking over the top supervillain clichés. The series was a massive pop culture hit in the late 1990s and early 2000s, influencing comedy, fashion jokes, and catchphrases that still get referenced today.
🕶️🇬🇧 AUSTIN POWERS IN GOLDMEMBER – “TALK IN PROPER ENGLISH, ENGLISH” 🚨 “If you're going to talk dirt, talk in proper English, English!” Reel & A Beer Short Breakdown 🍺😂🎬 In Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002), Austin (Mike Myers) finally meets his estranged father, Nigel Powers (Michael Caine), and the reunion is instant comedy fire. Nigel starts trash-talking in his thick Cockney accent, and Austin — ever the posh spy — snaps back with the iconic line: “If you're going to talk dirt, talk in proper English, English!” The delivery is perfect: Austin's offended poshness vs. Nigel's unapologetic East End swagger. The whole scene is peak Myers/Caine chemistry — father-son banter with British insults flying, all while Austin tries to keep his cool. It's one of the funniest family-reunion moments in comedy history. Reel & A Beer’s all in! 😎 Austin’s poshness slays! Austin Powers 🎬 Storyline 🎬 Austin Powers is a spy-comedy franchise that parodies James Bond–style films through the wildly goofy adventures of Austin Powers, a groovy 1960s British spy who gets cryogenically frozen and wakes up in the modern world. His outdated charm, ridiculous confidence, and over-the-top villains create nonstop absurd situations packed with innuendo and slapstick humor. Cast 🎭 Mike Myers in multiple roles as Austin Powers, Dr. Evil, and Fat Bastard, Elizabeth Hurley as Vanessa, Heather Graham as Felicity, and Michael York as Basil Exposition. Review ⭐ Silly, iconic, and endlessly quotable. The humor is dumb on purpose, the characters are unforgettable, and Mike Myers’ performances carry the entire franchise. Funny how all this makes sense now. Clip from the movie “So I Married an Axe Murderer”. While it is not clear why Canadian actor, comedian, and filmmaker Mike Myers was mentioned during Diddy’s trial, one of his most famous movie franchises, Austin Powers, has a scene poking fun at Combs. In the 2002 spy comedy/ sci-fi film Austin Powers in Goldmember, Mike Myers’ character Dr. Evil was revealed to have a tattoo on his b*ttocks that read, “E. Diddy.” This was a reference to Sean Combs and seemingly implied that Dr. Evil was once connected to Diddy. Researching this Austin Powers connection made me think of this scene from this old Mike Meyers movie. I also found an old 2009 article of Mr. Meyers touring the CIA Headquarters. Hmmmm. Come to find out from the article that he not only toured the agency’s museum, but also had lunch with CIA officials, addressed several hundred CIA officers and he was paying tribute to his mother — who was in the British Royal Air Force during World War II and held a security clearance. Interesting. So many celebrities have family in government + military positions. 💡 https://ew.com/article/2009/05/12/mike-myers-cia/ #newworldorder #nwo #agenda #illuminati #wakeup

🕺 Interesting fact: Austin Powers (1997–2002) — Mike Myers based the character’s voice and mannerisms on his own father, who used to wake him up in the middle of the night to watch British comedy troupes like Monty Python. Myers played multiple roles in each film, eventually playing four different characters in Goldmember: Austin, Dr. Evil, Fat Bastard, and Goldmember. The character of Dr. Evil was originally a parody of Bond villains like Blofeld, but Myers’ specific vocal delivery was actually an impression of Dana Carvey doing an impression of SNL creator Lorne Michaels. The first film was such a surprise hit that it is credited with single-handedly reviving the “spy-spoof” genre for a new generation.
