🌿 11km through the wild heart of Singapore 🐍🐢🐒 MacRitchie Reservoir never disappoints. We took the TreeTop Walk Loop... one of the best treks in Singapore, winding through lush rainforest, across the iconic suspension bridge, and back along the reservoir. Around 11km of pure nature therapy. And yes... the wildlife showed up. Two snakes on the trail, turtles chilling by the water, and a troop of monkeys doing what they do best 🙈 Kept ourselves going with ionic water + water bottles... hydration is non-negotiable out there, especially in this heat ☀️ If you’re planning the hike, here’s what I’d add to your kit: 👟 Trail shoes or good grip sneakers 🧴 Sunscreen + insect repellent 🎒 At least 1.5–2L of water or isotonic drinks ⏰ Start early (7–8am) to beat the heat and crowd Singapore’s wilderness is closer than you think 🌳 #SGHiking #TreeTopWalk #SingaporeNature #HikingSingapore #WeekendHike SingaporeOutdoors TrailLife NatureWalk ExploreAsia

If you’re looking to escape the glass and steel of the city, skip the malls and head to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. It’s a rare pocket of primary rainforest that feels worlds away from the urban city. I spent my birthday morning on the trails here and it was the perfect reset. The air is thick with the scent of damp earth and if you keep your eyes peeled (or get lucky with a friendly local walker pointing things out), the forest is incredibly alive. I managed to spot a Colugo clinging to a trunk, a vibrant Kingfisher and several monkeys playing in the canopy. Pro tips: Go early: The humidity is no joke and it gets busy on weekends. Watch the trees: Some of the best sightings, like the Colugo, are camouflaged..don’t be afraid to ask regular hikers what they’ve seen. Water & Shoes: Wear actual trainers; the main path is paved but steep and the side trails can be muddy. It’s a reminder that Singapore’s true pulse isn’t just in its innovations but in these quiet, wild spaces.

Exercised free will and drag my indoor bf out on a weekend morning just to see a rock #Outdoors #Hiking
POV: You’re walking on the narrow suspended bridge at the Karst Loop inside Rainforest Wild Asia 🌿 Surrounded by dense rainforest and limestone formations, this trek feels like a real jungle adventure in Singapore. The bridge gently sways as you walk… thrilling and scenic at the same time. Save this for your next nature escape in Singapore. A 28km solo walk across Singapore, and this was only the beginning. From Outram Park to Marsiling, the Pipeline Trail cuts through forests, ridgelines, and quiet corridors most people never see. Long, demanding, and strangely peaceful. This wasn’t about speed or distance. It was about seeing how far focus alone can take you. #PipelineTrail #SingaporeHikes #SoloAdventure #HiddenTrails #ReelCraft
Ain't kidding when they said Singapore is small. A long weekend hike took me from Bukit Timah all the way to the Treetop Walk. Forests linking into reservoirs, trails blending into one another. Step by step, it really hit me how connected everything is if you’re willing to walk far enough. #BukitTimah #TreetopWalk #SingaporeHikes #TrailLink #ReelCraft
