✨ A Firenze c’è una cabina che non è come le altre… si chiama Fotoautomatica 🎞️ 🕰️ Sono cabine originali degli anni ’50–’60, riportate in vita da Matteo Sani, che le ha salvate e restaurate. Funzionano ancora in analogico: inserisci 2 €, entri… e aspetti. Il bello? Non sai mai quando scatterà il flash → ti coglie di sorpresa! ⏳ In 4 minuti e mezzo sviluppano le foto in bianco e nero, direttamente lì, come una mini camera oscura. Ne trovi 4 in città: via dell’Agnolo, via del Proconsolo, via Santa Monaca e vicino alla stazione.

In 2011, Matteo Sani walked away from his career as a film set designer and spent a year traveling through Eastern Europe with one mission: find the last surviving analog photo booths before they disappeared forever. He found them in the former Soviet states, where modernization had moved slowly enough that nobody had bothered replacing the old machines. He shipped them back to Italy, opened them up, and discovered the mechanisms were labeled in languages he couldn’t read. He taught himself anyway, tracked down the chemicals needed for analog development, and restored each machine to exactly its original condition. Then he put them on street corners in Florence. There are five of them now. Each one costs two euros. You sit behind a curtain, the flash fires four times, and you wait exactly 4.5 minutes while the machine develops your film using real liquid chemicals. A wet strip of four black-and-white photographs drops into the tray. No digital file. No backup. No filter. That strip is the only proof the moment happened. Fewer than 50 working vintage analog photo booths exist on earth.
