At the beginning of this month, FRAMA brought a temporary installation of furniture, home objects, lighting, and self care to VooSpace—a new gallery concept from VooStore in Berlin. On the occasion of Berlin Design Week, the space was treated as a canvas to tell the FRAMA story in a new context, focusing on simplicity, craftsmanship, and honest materials. To kick off the collaboration, a family-style dinner was prepared by Chef Zsuzsanna Toth with welcome drinks by Ode Aperitif at Chipperfield Kantine—an appropriate space to celebrate the porous bounds of design. At the opening event as well as the four days that followed, the topics of fashion, design, art, and culture found new footing amid the permanent collection. Music by Terkel Atusji #frama #framacph

As the FRAMA team becomes more and more enmeshed in Japan’s largest city through collaborations and retail space, we’ve been grateful to get to know Tokyo’s ins and outs in a way that is only possible through repeated visits and the trust and generosity of local friends. Over the course of recent visits, we’ve had the Japanese concept of “forest bathing” top of mind. The idea of forest bathing or “shinrin-yoku” is a practice of spending time in nature in full immersion, to slow down, take time for the senses, and reduce stress by taking in the environment around you. The energy we felt from exploring the electric city made us wonder—could the concept of “city bathing” have something to it as well? Discover our favorite places to eat, stay, and explore through spaces like PARCO, The Conran Shop, Casa, Vacant, Graphpaper, and Mu Hen Ko, and see for yourself if the power of city bathing is sometimes the recharge we need. #frama #framacph #framajpn
