Shattered Knife by Full of Hell - 09/13/25

Gearing up for our final two shows of 2025 next week. Go fast 🥁 12/13 - Boston, MA @ Roadrunner 12/14 - Albany, NY @ Empire Live

Friends. Today, we sweetened the pot with an absolutely volcanic live performance from Maryland’s @fullofhell. If you’ve had your finger on the pulse of modern grindcore, you already know the power of these contemporary torchbearers is unmatched. Playing songs from across their expansive discography, Full of Hell’s live session is a no-holds-barred dash through murderous cymbal crashes, technical thrash numbers, and booming industrial reverb. They’re a band who knows how to keep listeners on their toes, able to jump from punch-and-cackle powerviolence to playful industrial deathgrind to volcanic sludge in a matter of moments. If you’re looking to get your world rocked in real time, catch them on their co-headlining tour with @harmsway13 this spring.

If you've ever woken up in the middle of the night with a toothache, you know how it feels—it hurts like hell. That’s exactly the sensation captured in "Toothache," the second single from Midwest quintet Locked Shut's new album, The New Chaos, a title that couldn't be more fitting. The title "Toothache" is spot-on because the song conveys a deep, intense pain, much like the throbbing, nagging discomfort of a toothache. The lyrics are filled with metaphors and dental-related imagery to depict a broken relationship that needs to end. So, the title not only connects with the song’s theme but also with the way it delivers its analogies about dental pain. This track is fast and fierce, like a water flosser on full blast, with biting lyrics about a decayed relationship that needs to be pulled out by the roots. Despite its harsh lyrics, "Toothache" still feels as fresh as mint, marking another pre-release win for this Missouri band. Full of Hell - Doors to Mental Agony (Montréal, Théâtre Fairmount - 16/11/24) I’ve seen them three times this year, but I never get bored. There’s such a special energy to Dylan Walker’s stage presence. It’s like he’s controlled by demons. Love that song too. It’s brimming with passion and heartbreak. #fullofhell #coagulatedbliss #grindcore #grindcoreband #grindcoremusic #doorstomentalagony
