English: I always feel that it’s a blessingto get opportunity to sleep in the strangers house when you get stranded I arrived in Botswana on my way through Africa. Also taking Nimmi along with me from zambia , a friend she met in Kenya. On the first day after entering Botswana from Zambia, we slept in a truck . For the next 3 nights shelter was found in a Malayali’s house After leaving the city of Gaborone, we planned to travel straight to the northern part of the country. We reached at a isolated place after taking public transport, car, by walking and getting on a truck. Despite the heat in Botswana, it has been unbearably cold for two days due to unexpected weather changes. My travels prove daily that shelter is as essential to human survival as water and food. Realizing that we could not sleep under the tent in the cold, we walked towards a house. A sister said she will come now and she brought another sister. She inquired about things and took us to her house. Maybe becausewe were foreigner, they checked all the passports and brought us home. When we entered the house, a small family of 5 or 6 people welcomed us with hot tea. Then in the morning, As soon as I woke up, the mother came to talk to me .
