Here – and then there ✨ Because Olga Jakob’s ‘Ondit Murmur’ can be altered by visitors, it never looks the same twice. Every time you enter the room, you are surprised by its state: sometimes a piece of fabric is pushed together, sometimes pulled apart. Sometimes it hangs far to the left, sometimes far to the right. The ability to change it allows for trying out different compositions and discover how a minimal change can completely transform the feeling of the space. 🤔 // Mal hier, mal da ✨ Dadurch, dass “Ondit Murmur” von Olga Jakob von den Besucher*innen verändert werden darf, sieht es nie gleich aus. Jedes Mal, wenn man in den Raum kommt, wird man von dem Zustand überrascht: Mal ist eine Stoffbahn zusammengeschoben, mal auseinander. Mal hängt sie weit links, dann weit rechts. Das Verändern ermöglicht es, verschiedene Kompositionen selbst auszuprobieren und herauszufinden, wie eine minimale Änderung das Raumgefühl komplett wandeln kann. 🤔 #museumfürneuekunst #museenfreiburg #freiburg

This week in Berlin, exhibitions turn to landscapes as sites of transformation and reflection. At the Akademie der Künste, ‘Vessel & Voyager’ brings together artists from the JUNGE AKADEMIE residency programme, presenting works across installation, video, sculpture, and sound that reflect on care, vulnerability, and artistic practice amid overlapping crises. At Spreepark Art Space, ‘Transient Landscapes’ approaches the former amusement park as a site in transition, where ecological change and collective memory unfold through installations and participatory works. Set up of Kim Dotty Hachmann’s Revier I’m thrilled to share that the artist Kim Dotty Hachmann is presenting her work Revier as part of um | raum parcours, an art programme featuring eight artistic positions taking place at Gutshof Britz in Berlin on 14 and 15 March 2026 from 18:00 to 22:30. Kim Dotty’s practice unfolds at the intersection of intimacy, space and identity, merging personal experience with visual expression. Her work challenges conventional boundaries between art and life, transforming familial and everyday realities into layered artistic narratives. Working with photography, video and installation, she creates visual environments where lived experience becomes a lens onto broader cultural and social questions. Revier invites reflection on how we define our territories — physical, emotional and conceptual — encouraging visitors to reconsider the spaces we inhabit and the stories they hold.
