It’s electric! ⚡️🩵 This incomparable suite of Paraíba tourmaline jewelry was analyzed and filmed onsite at GIA just over two years ago. It totals a jaw-dropping 526 carats of Paraíba tourmaline, all mined in Mozambique. It is extremely rare to find seventeen gems of this size and this matching color. One reason Paraíba tourmaline is valuable is due to their striking neon hues ranging from green to blue. Paraíba typically has a strong color saturation and a light tone, which makes it look almost glowing or electric. Its vivid color is caused mainly by traces of copper and manganese.
