He first rose to fame with the platinum-selling group LeVert before launching a successful solo career with hits like Private Line, Baby Hold On to Me, and I’d Give Anything. He also formed the R&B supergroup LSG alongside Keith Sweat and Johnny Gill, further cementing his place in music history. Tragically, Gerald Levert passed away on November 10, 2006, at the age of 40.
