Danach steche ich die Rasenkante ab, hebe die Fläche aus, lege Wellpappe gegen Unkraut aus, pflanze Lavendel, Geranium ‘Rozanne’, Verbena rigida, Verbena bonariensis ‘Lollipop’ und Blutweiderich ein und fülle alles mit frischer Erde auf. — 🇬🇧 Everything starts with a garden hose. 👌 First, I use a garden hose to mark the shape of the tree bed. Want free geranium plants? You can create exact copies of your favourite geraniums in just a few minutes by taking cuttings. Here’s how 👇 1) Take a healthy, non-flowering shoot 2) Remove the lower leaves 3) Pinch out the growing tip 4) Cut just below a node, the swollen point where leaves join the stem Why the node? It contains natural plant hormones that help encourage new roots to form. For even better results, dip the cutting into rooting hormone powder, then place it into peat-free seed and cutting compost. Water well and keep the compost lightly moist. In as little as 2–4 weeks, you could have a brand-new rooted plant. And because it’s grown from a cutting, it’s a clone of the parent plant, meaning the same flowers, colour, and growth habit. More plants. No extra cost. That’s one of the joys of gardening.
