It's time for Movie Monday!
We are launching a new series featuring films created by educators from across Alaska during the Anchored Histories Alaska intensive with See Stories.
Our first film, Kangiliryaraq by Elena Pavilla, shares teachings about Yup’ik naming traditions and the ceremony that welcomes a new name into a person’s life. Her film reflects on how names carry memory, identity, and connection across generations.
As Elena reminds us,
"All the people that have passed on live through us."
Watch the film now at seestories.org/movie-monday
