#Gobiopterus cf. chuno is a species of small goby found in slow flowing rivers and swamps in both fresh and brackish water where it feeds on zooplankton. This widespread and common species may be a species complex and different populations may prove to be separate species.
๐๐จ๐ญ๐: These are fish from Thailand under the name ๐บ. ๐โ๐ข๐๐; many said they look slightly different from Indian fish. Which may be ๐บ. ๐๐๐๐โ๐ฆ๐๐ก๐๐๐ข๐ but there is no current revision known that would allow to distinguish these species.

The search for Stiphodon atropurpureus on Tioman Island together with Hazy @biotohazy and Hakim @abg_ikan6945
On the video you can see the natural habitat of the Stiphodon. In this section of the river it was flat with relatively fast current. At the end of the video you can see an artropurpureus male.

Something about this stream tank filled with a variety of gobies relaxes me more than a typical aquarium. Anyone else feel the same way? Beautiful display from when I visited @flow.hillstreams in Bangkok. #gobies #freshwatergoby #hillstream #hillstreamtank #nature
Needless to say, they're a little camera shy! ๐

Gobies are so cute but I wonder if thereโs much going on upstairs sometimes ๐
๐
Did you know gobies prefer to live in brackish water? Most are bred in freshwater though and they can live in either! Theyโre carnivores too so they need a diet in frozen foods such as daphnia and bloodworms ๐ชฑ
