iPad apps you actually need for school season 📱🎒✨
1. For Note-Taking: Go with Goodnotes 6 or Notability for deep handwriting and PDF imports. If you want completely free options without paywalls, try CollaNote, FreeNotes, or Notes+.
2. For Active Studying: Use FocusPomo for timed sessions, Quizlet for flashcards, Photomath for solving equations step-by-step, Libby for free library textbooks, and Freeform for visual brainstorming.
3. For Your Second Brain: Store your syllabus links, class wikis, and deep notes in Notion or Obsidian. And use Gemini NotebookLM to upload your lecture PDFs so it can instantly summarize or quiz you on them.
4. For Daily Productivity: Plan your schedule with Google Calendar or CalenDraw, lock down phone distractions using Forest or OffScreen, and stay locked into work blocks.
