Each Goshuin is believed to be imbued with the power of the deity or spirit enshrined at the temple or shrine. Getting a Goshuin isn’t just about collecting a stamp, it’s more like a ritual. You offer a small fee (usually around 300 to 500 yen) and your Goshuincho (special book meant only for collecting Goshuins) to the Temple’s attendant. They proceed to write your Goshuin with meticulous care, often accompanied by a short blessing or a prayer. One of the best things to bring home from your trip to Japan ❤️

Si me preguntan cuál es el mejor recuerdo que te podés traer de Japón, para mí es un goshuincho (御朱印帳) 🇯🇵✨ El goshuin (御朱印) es un sello que recibís al visitar un templo budista o santuario sintoísta. Cada uno es diferente y suele estar acompañado de una hermosa caligrafía japonesa, con el nombre del lugar y la fecha de tu visita. Estos suelen salir entre ¥300 y ¥500. Todos esos recuerdos los podés ir coleccionando en tu goshuincho (御朱印帳), un cuaderno especialmente diseñado para guardar goshuin. Para mí es mi es como mi portal, cada página me transporta directo a los lugares que visite y los momentos que pasé ahí 🥹🇯🇵🖤 (te extraño Japón, ya quiero volver)

El mejor souvenir que puedes traerte de Japón se trata de un Goshuincho. Se trata de esta libreta en formato acordeón, hecha especialmente para coleccionar Goshuin: sellos únicos de cada templo que visitas, hechos por los mismos monjes en tu cuaderno. Es como completar el Camino de Santiago japonés. Como no sé japonés, en la parte de atrás con lápiz he anotado a que templo corresponde cada uno para acordarme del momento en que conseguí cada uno de ellos. Abrir mi goshuincho me teletransporta directamente a los momentos donde me hicieron cada goshuin 💕 La libreta en si puedes conseguirla en cualquier papelería de Japón, la mía que ves llena la compré en mi primer día en el Loft de Shibuya. Aunque si durante tu viaje encuentras otros tan mágicos como ese segundo hecho de madera sagrada que te enseño, te recomiendo que no lo dejes pasar y te lo lleves aunque vayas a dejarlo vacío.
