Back where it all started 🌱 Today Greenseed had the chance to connect with students at the University of Geneva, our co-founders’ alma mater. Happy Green Week! In celebration of Green Week, @trinitycollegedublin’s Biodiversity Officer, @collieennis, hosted a tour to discover the biodiversity on campus. Some fun facts you may not know: 🌻 In allowing plants to grow on campus, both native and non-native plants have appeared. 🌱 Every spot on campus is a place that can benefit nature. Even the cricket pitch is a space that allows seagulls, oyster catchers, and geese to land safely without dogs or anyone bothering them. More biodiversity events are coming up, so keep an eye on @tcdsustainability!

Sustainability Week @uniessex 🌱♻️ Our group hosted the stall “Mission: Bin-Possible”, where we collected different types of waste to create an activity challenging participants to sort items into the correct bins. It was great to see so many people getting involved, along with a variety of other stalls all promoting small changes we can make to become more sustainable! @uoe_susandgrounds #SustainabilityWeek #UniOfEssex #StudentEvents #EssexStudents

We had the pleasure of teaming up with @kpeuauoft @greenmovescampaign_uoft this Monday to host a cleanup on the UofT campus! In a short amount of time we saw eager staff, students, and volunteers. Together, we collected 2,817 pieces of litter from the campus grounds. 👀 This is a great reminder that litter still exists under all that snow. While walking around campus, we asked faculty, staff, and students at St. George’s University one question: “What is one environmentally harmful habit you still practice, even though you know better?”👀 The responses were real, relatable, and a reminder that sustainability is a journey. Many of us care about the environment, yet small everyday habits can still contribute to pollution and waste. The good news?
