Grant sent me this video from earlier today while it was raining.
At first glance it looks like the gutter is failing.
But most of the time, gutters arenāt brokenā¦ theyāre just full.
When debris blocks the flow, water canāt reach the downspouts. Instead it spills over the gutter or runs behind it into the fascia.
Thatās how small maintenance issues turn into fascia repairs.
Little mom tip: gutters only work if theyāre clear.
Next time it rains, take a look at your gutters.
