“Les Toiles de Fakaha” In the heart of Fakaha, Ivory Coast, a unique fashion brand has taken shape - “Les Toiles de Fakaha.” This brand beautifully marries ancient weaving techniques with modern fashion sensibilities. Their creations start with woven fabrics, painstakingly painted on stitched cotton panels stretched over wooden frames using simple tools. What sets them apart is the use of natural dyes like bark, fermented corn, sorghum, and chapalo, creating one-of-a-kind patterns and colors inspired by Senoufo traditions. But it doesn’t end there.
